Norelys Morales Aguilera.- El Departamento de Estado mantiene a Cuba en la lista de países patrocinadores del terrorismo desde 1982. Año tras año un despliegue de retórica fascistoide y vacía acompaña a la designación falsa, destinada a silenciar sus propios actos terroristas y, a justificar tropelías y desmanes.
En este 2011, según Estados Unidos, los argumentos son:
1. Aunque la Isla "mantuvo una actitud pública contra el terrorismo y su financiación en 2010 no hay pruebas de que haya cortado sus vínculos con elementos de las FARC y algunas informaciones de prensa indican que algunos miembros de ETA, activos y pasados, continúan en Cuba".
Sin embargo, los gobiernos de Colombia y España, respectivamente, que serían los indicados para reclamar a Cuba por tales acusaciones, no lo han hecho y si tuviesen pruebas lo harían. Estados Unidos habla por ellos, además, como argumentación tendenciosa.
2. Cuba no aprobó ninguna legislación en 2010 para luchar contra el terrorismo y "ha sido utilizada como punto de tránsito para que nacionales de terceros países hayan entrado en Estados Unidos", sostiene el texto.
Bien saben los Estados unidos que las leyes cubanas condenan el terrorismo: tal vez Washington pretende que las mismas se aprueben en el Congreso norteamericano como sucede con Puerto Rico.
3. El informe indica asimismo que Cuba "sigue denunciando los esfuerzos antiterroristas de EE.UU. en todo el mundo, que dibuja como un pretexto de EE.UU. para extender su influencia y poder", según un informe de Efe.
Merecen castigo las denuncias cubanas de que en el territorio norteamericano se alojan terroristas como Luis Posada Carriles y el recién fallecido Orlando Bosch, autores probados del atentado con bombas a un avión de pasajeros en 1976, cuando la justicia norteña juzgó y absolvió al primero por mentiroso y no por asesino. Silencio, Cuba, porque te aplicamos el garrote, parecen decir.
Pero, bien vale la pena que Cuba no se calle, aunque Estados Unidos la incluyan en sus “listas”.
La autoridad moral de la Isla perturba a los listeros imperiales. La política cubana se opone al apoyo de Estados Unidos a Israel, condena las matanzas de niños por aviones no tripulados en Paquistán e Irak, repudia la tortura en la base ilegal en el territorio cubano de Guantánamo, las matanzas de civiles en Libia por tropas de la OTAN comandadas por EE.UU. o cuando provoca la violencia en México siendo el primer consumidor mundial de la droga.
Los listeros imperiales sostienen su línea de propaganda fascista para conservar un bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero que clasificaría como genocidio si los cubanos no lucharan por su sobrevivencia con todo su coraje y talento.
Por ejemplo, este mismo jueves se informaba que la más reciente versión de la vacuna pentavalente cubana (Heberpenta), con registro en el 2010, cuyos antígenos están unidos en un solo frasco, se aplica hoy en todo el país. Dicha vacuna combate la difteria, el tétanos, la tosferina, la hepatitis B y el haemophilus influenzae tipo B.
Coincidiendo con la última calificación dada por Estados Unidos a Cuba se supo que aquellos impusieron una multa de 374 400 dólares a la empresa francesa naviera y de transporte CMA CGM por prestar servicios a Cuba, según comunicó hoy la Oficina para el Control de Bienes Extranjeros (OFAC), informó PL.
También un analista dijo a RT algo bien ilustrativo del control político en Estados Unidos. En un reportaje titulado“¿A quién le conviene el embargo de EEUU contra Cuba?”, es reconocida por analistas la influencia de grupos de extrema derecha en las decisiones de Washington respecto a la Isla, a pesar de que las encuestas siguen mostrando que dos tercios de estadounidenses apoyan el levantamiento del bloqueo.
Frank Sharry, fundador de ‘La Voz de América’, el servicio de radio y televisión internacional del Gobierno de EE. UU. afirmó que “Las agrupaciones anticastristas dan mucho dinero a las campañas políticas durante las elecciones; han aprendido las reglas del juego político.
Y, en ese juego político la derecha estadounidense, cuyo estilo propagandístico se basa en la mentira, no podría excluir a Cuba de tales petardos, flores estériles del fascismo en Estados Unidos.

Cuba Blacklisted as Terrorist Country: The Futile Flower of US Fascism

The US Department of State has maintained Cuba on its list of “States Sponsors of Terrorism” since 1982. Year after year, a deployment of fascist and futile rhetoric backs the false designation aimed at hiding the very US terrorist acts and at justifying its outrages and excesses.
In 2011, the arguments used by the United States include:
1.- The Government of Cuba maintained a public stance against terrorism and terrorist financing in 2010, but there was no evidence that it had severed ties with elements from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and recent media reports indicate some current and former members of the Basque Fatherland and Liberty (ETA) continue to reside in Cuba.
However, the governments of Colombia and Cuba, that would be the appropriate ones to raise such accusations against Cuba, have not done so, though if they had proofs they would do it. The United States speaks for them in what also is a tendentious argument.
2.- Cuba did not pass new counterterrorism legislation in 2010 and Cuba has been used as a transit point by third-country nationals looking to enter illegally into the United State.
Washington knows very well that Cuban laws condemn terrorism; perhaps Washington would be suggesting that these laws be approved by the US Congress, as it is the case of Puerto Rico.
3.- And the reports also says that Cuba continued to denounce U.S. counterterrorism efforts throughout the world, portraying them as a pretext to extend U.S. influence and power.
Cuba then must be punished for its denunciations that the United States hosts terrorists like Luis Posada Carriles and the recently deceased Orlado Bosch, two men that masterminded the 1976 bombing in mid air of a Cubana airliner, or that US justice tried and acquitted Posada Carriles for being a liar and not for being an assassin.
Hey, Cuba, you´d better keep silence or we can use the stick! That´s what they seem to imply.
But Cuba´s denunciation is quite worth, although the United States keeps including it on its “lists”.
Cuba´s prestige and authority upsets the Imperial list makers. The Cuba policy opposes the US support of Israel; it condemns the massacre of children by drones in Pakistan and Iraq; it repudiates torture in the illegal US base in the Cuban territory of Guantanamo, and the killing of civilians in Libya by US-led NATO troops, or the US-encouraged violence in Mexico, while the United States is the major drug consumer in the world.
The imperial list makers maintain their fascist propaganda to uphold the economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba, which they call embargo, and which would classify as genocide if the Cuban people did not strive for their own survival with their courage and talent.
As an example of this, just last Thursday, reports said that the most recent Cuban pentavalent vaccine (Heberpenta), registered in 2010, and whose antigens are all included in a single bottle, is being administered throughout the island. This vaccine fights diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, hepatitis B and haemophilus influenza type B.
While giving Cuba this false designation, the United States imposed a 374 400 dollar fine on the French CMA CGM shipping company for having provided its services to Cuba, according to the Office of Foreign Assets Control, PL reported.
In a reportage titled “Who benefits from the US embargo on Cuba?, analysts recognized the influence by ultra-right groups on Washington´s decisions with respect to Cuba, despite the fact that surveys keep saying that two thirds of the US population support the lifting of the embargo.
Frank Sharry, founder of “The Voice of America” which is the US government´s international radio and TV service, said that anti-Castro groups contribute a lot of money to political electoral campaigns; they have learned the rules of political game…and, in this political game the US right wing, whose propaganda is based on lies, would not exclude Cuba from being a target of such petards, futile flowers of US fascism.
